Meow Wolf's "Omegamart" Immersive Art Exhibit
A small sample of projects I designed, painted, fabricated and facilitated in my 3.5 years on the Scenic & Art team, which included leading the department.
Meow Wolf art exhibits are known for complex themes and narratives, a diverse and maximalist aesthetic, and for inviting guests to physically interact with nearly everything.
Thus, everything we create for the exhibit needs to have narrative complexity, an appropriate aesthetic, incorporate interactive elements, meet all building and fire codes, and be extremely durable and safe for our guests; which makes for a very complex design process.
Burning Man and Public Art Fabrication
Large-scale public art projects and Burning Man installations that I worked on collaboratively; including carving and sculpting, building, detail finishing and painting, LED installation and power assembly, metal fabrication and more.
Custom Woodworking and Finish Carpentry
Projects built and installed while working with a small custom woodworking company in Las Vegas.
Company specialties included interior barn doors, custom cabinetry, shelves and beams, crown moulding and baseboard, and more.
Two large projects were featured on the hit HGTV show "Property Brothers".
